Rani ki vav(stepwell) is located in the city of Patan in the Gujarat state of India near the Saraswati river. It was built by the udaymati Queen of the 11th century of the Solanki dynasty. She was the wife of Bhimdeva-1. Rani ki vav is declared a world heritage site By UNESCO in 2014. Vav was built for Water conservation in those days. We know how they people aware about water saving and restored in under the land. The structure is 7 layers and each layer connected by the stairs it was amazing. Rani ki vav one of the best stepwell structures in India. This type of stepwell is called Nanda type stepwell. Rani ki vav also see on the Indian currency of 100 Rs
